Philippines President Ms. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo visits HTMT’s subsidiary ‘Customer Contact Centre Inc’ centre in Manila

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Philippines President visited HTMT’s subsidiary, Customer Contact Centre Inc’s, (c-cubed) Manila centre on Wednusday 23 rd Feb 2005. HTMT’s nominee Director on c-cubed Board Mr. M. S. Varadan and the company’s CEO Mr. J. Xavier Gonzales welcomed her to the centre. During an hour-long visit, Ms. Arroyo was introduced by C-cubed to Ms. Jasmin Figueroa, the highest ranked Filipino archer in Olympics. C-cubed has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Ms. Jasmin Figreroa and National Archery Association of Philippines for providing financial support to Ms. Figreroa for a period of four years starting this month.
This was the third visit of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to c-cubed premises and was in line with her ongoing program of support for the country’s growing IT-enables services sector. Together with Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP) Chairman Bong Borja, American Express (Phils.) president Ian Fish, DTSI CEO Miguel Garcia, and other industry leaders, the President had wide-ranging discussions of industry specific issues with c-cubed management team. She was also provided with an overview of c-cubed operations and update on the local call centre industry.
