CVIL operates as CVO, India's premier Hindi Movie Channel, with a reach of over 6 million households. It has an enriched library of over 1600 to 3600 Hindi films that constitute 75% of the films categorized as good films.

CVO, the No 1 Hindi movie Channel, was launched simultaneously in six cities-across Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Belgaum Ahmedabad and Hyderabad on November 15,1996

It has since expanded its network to 104 centres of India through cable distribution systems.

These have been conceived and are being produced in-house by a team of professionals. The range of film-based shows include countdown of popular songs, movie trailors, clippings of forthcoming releases, song requests, thematic songs, interviews with film stars and many more programmes based on the film world.
